Ancient Olympia is the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Tradition holds that the first Olympic Games took place in 766 BC. Among the most important buildings found in Ancient Olympia are the Roman Propylaea, the Prytaneion, the Philippiion, the Heraion - where the Hermes of Praxiteles was found, the largest temple of Zeus - and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia. The distance from the port of Patras is 120 km and we will remain in the area for 3 hours.

The two Churches of the Patron Saint of Patras, Saint Andrew, are a Panhellenic and Pan-Orthodox pilgrimage site. The new church is the largest in the Balkans and can accommodate 5,500 people. The Ancient Odeon of Patras was discovered in 1889 and the restoration was completed in 1956. The Archaeological Museum of Patras is the second largest in Greece. The Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge is a landmark of 21st century Greece. The Castle of Rio was built in 1499. Finally, a visit to Achaia Klaus - a wine factory since 1861, which has been visited by great and important personalities from all over the world. The distance from the port of Patras is 40 km.

TOUR 3: PORT, RIO-ANTIRRIO BRIDGE, NAFPAKTOS, GALAXIDI, DELPHI
Starting from the port and after 10 km. we will find ourselves at the Rio-Antirrio bridge. The connection project is the landmark of Greece in the 21st century and radically changed the geopolitical and economic landscape of the region. It is the largest cable-stayed bridge in the world, with a main deck of 2,252 meters. Then we will encounter the historic city of Nafpaktos and, as we approach Delphi, the picturesque Galaxidi. This maritime state has a 4000-year history behind it. Finally, in Delphi, at the foot of Mount Parnassos, is located the Panhellenic Sanctuary of Delphi and the most famous oracle of Ancient Greece.
